Alexánder Maroto

Born and based in Costa Rica, Central América, Chemical Engineer and Master on Business Administration.

Mr. Maroto has been related to food Industry since 1996, has traveled to all Latin America providing support related to food safety and operational sustainability (water and energy) for more than 25 years.  He has been very close to hygienic design applied to food factories for the last 10 years and is a certified trainer by EHEDG.

Because of the Latin America size, limitations and market demand Mr. Maroto has direct experience on many different food sectors, as diverse as: protein, poultry, dairy, beer, juices, carbonated soft drinks, powder milk and other custom ones. He has worked on many complex situations related to microbial contamination and trouble shooting.

Mr. Maroto has performed many rolls during his career at Ecolab, as Account Manager, District Manager, Engineering Manager and Tech support Manager.

Situation has driven him helping food plants improve their KPIS with sustainable projects related to take care of fresh and waste water, challenging the minds and practices of the plants and their management.

He has driven several multidisciplinary and internationals team to deliver the task the market has request to him and his partners.
