I’M COMING FROM OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES. WHAT DOCUMENTS DO I NEED?

All travelers from outside the United States must have a valid passport.
Most citizens of the 41 countries participating in the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) may travel to the United States for short visits for temporary business without a visa.

Use of this program requires authorization through the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) prior to boarding a U.S.-bound air or sea carrier. Visit the ESTA webpage for more information.

Citizens of countries that do not participate in the VWP need a visitor visa (B-1) to visit the United States for a professional conference. More information can be found here.
