Sharif Uddin, Ph.D

Sharif Uddin has more than 25 years of experience working in foods, supplemental vitamins,and consumer products manufacturing facilities. His work experience includes process and CIP system designs in milk, yogurt, vitamins, cereals, refried beans, soups, and other foods. He is currently working as Principal Engineer,Process Cleaning for Rockline Industries, Inc, a global manufacturer of wet wipes and coffee filters. A subject matter expert in hygienic design, cleaning, and cleaning validation, Sharif recently earned accreditation [GV1] as a Certified Conformance Evaluator(CCE). In addition to the 3-A Sanitary Standards and AcceptedPractices, he is knowledgeable in EHEDG and ASME-BPE standards.[GV2]  Sharif holds a Ph.D. in biological and agricultural engineering from Kansas State University. He has been involved in the ASTM E55.03 WK98596 committee to develop the standard guide, The Science and Risk-Based Design of Clean in Place Clean Friendly Equipment forPharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical Applications (CbDby Design).
