JenniferCleveland McEntire is the founder of Food Safety Strategy, LLC, a consultingfirm focused on developing critical thinking skills within the food industryand facilitating action-oriented initiatives that will have the greatest impacton public health. She previously held food safety leadership positions with theInternational Fresh Produce Association, Grocery Manufacturers Association, TheAcheson Group, and the Institute of Food Technologists. McEntire earned a Ph.D.from Rutgers University as a USDA National Needs Fellow in Food Safety and aBachelor of Science with Distinction, magna cum laude, in food science from theUniversity of Delaware. She is a member of the technical committee for theCenter for Produce Safety and was the 2020 recipient of the NSF InternationalFood Safety Leadership Award and 2023 recipient of the Harold Barnum IndustryAward from the International Association for Food Protection (IAFP). She haspublished numerous peer-reviewed articles and books.
