His professional career spans 41 years, with 16 years as a state and federal government dairy regulator and 25 as a food industry advisor, advocate, trainer, adjunct professor, regulatory compliance specialist and consultant specializing in dairy processing, auditor, developer of food safety plans, evaluation of facility renovations ranging from new equipment and processing lines to full, green-field construction of new dairy facilities, ingredients, food additives and product labeling.
